Kelowna RCMP are searching for a suspect after a late-night stabbing left one person seriously injured near the intersection of Dilworth Drive and Summit Drive.
Police were notified of the stabbing at approximately 10:15 p.m. on September 3, 2026.

The victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
Police Dog Services searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Investigators believe the suspect initially fled on a scooter, which may later have been abandoned. Police subsequently seized a scooter as part of the investigation.
RCMP said investigators were initially unable to obtain detailed information about what happened because of the victim’s condition.
As a result, police say the risk to the public remains unknown.
“Investigators have since processed and released the outdoor scene,” Staff Sgt. Kris Clark of the BC RCMP said in the release. “A canvass for CCTV footage from nearby residences and businesses is underway as investigators work to identify and locate the suspect.”
The Kelowna RCMP General Investigations Section has taken conduct of the investigation.
Anyone with information, including CCTV or dash-camera footage, is asked to contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
